Product selection based on sentiment analysis of online reviews: an intuitionistic fuzzy TODIM method

Abstract Online reviews contain a great deal of information about consumers' purchasing preferences, which seriously affects potential decisions. Using the online review data to help customers make decisions has become concern customers, theoretical and practical application value. Therefore, product selection model is presented based on sentiment analysis combined with an intuitionistic fuzzy TODIM method. Firstly, features are extracted by Apriori algorithm reviews. The orientation intensity words for identified lexicon-based approach. Next, represented Then method used determine ranking results alternative products. Finally, case study mobile phone given illustrate proposed show that considers reviews’ consumers’ gain loss in process more reasonable than previous research.
